My Mission
To provide high quality professional sports coaching that always goes the extra mile.
787 Sports Within Schools
We offer a variety of sports and games to cover lunchtime breaks and after school clubs. These include football, dodgeball, basketball, netball, tennis and cricket as well as many other sports. In addition we also offer the option of a Multi-Sports club, where the focus of the sport changes each week. We pride ourselves on always going the `extra mile` both in delivering the sessions in a totally professional and structured way, also in taking the time and effort to provide an enjoyable learning environment by being approachable, thorough and friendly in everything we do.
As holders of a Level 3 Certificate in Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (QCF) we are able to deliver PE in Primary Schools in line with the National Curriculum (Gov.UK) guidelines.
As well as planning and delivering the lessons we also offer a bespoke written continuous assessment package which monitors the progress and development of every child weekly, each term and annually. This means that each child`s entire P.E. progress record from any year, can be researched at any time whilst at that school.
We offer a Sports Leaders Award to the older children in schools who express an interest in supervising the younger children at the school through sport and games. Sports Leaders can easily be identified within school (through the wearing of high visibility tabards) as children who can help the younger ones in the organising of small games. We deliver this programme in schools over three sessions with the children receiving a Certificate confirming that they have attended the sessions and so become Sports Leaders.
The Saturday Morning Football Club is for both boys and girls between the ages of 5 – 11 years. This takes place at the Priory Pembroke Academy in Cherry Willingham, Lincoln between 10 am – 12 noon. This is the ideal opportunity for children have great fun, make new friends and learn new footballing skills. Children are encouraged to play football with smiles on their faces without any fears of making a mistake. Building their confidence is the key objective so they can gain the maximum enjoyment.
Walking Football for the over 50`s
Walking football is different to regular Association Football in many ways and is aimed at the over 50’s age group. Many tournaments are now catering exclusively for the over 60’s age group.
It has very specific rules that outlaw all running and allows no contact between players. Over-head height restrictions and indirect free kicks ensure that the sport is played safely with full consideration to the participants’ age.
Teams are either 5 or 6-a-side. As a result of these rules, games are played at a slower pace, often on state of the art 3G artificial grass pitches, thus reducing the threat of pain, discomfort and injury, with players briskly walking through matches.
This allows people who have loved the sport all their lives to once again safely get back to playing and also introduces the sport to people who perhaps have never considered playing before.
We offer Walking Football for the over 50`s on Monday evenings between 7 -8pm. This is open to both men and women as well people who are under 50 years old who are recovering from illness or injury. This is a fantastic way of becoming more active whist making new friends.
